Cuba was once again selected as the Best Cultural Destination in the Caribbean in 2024, according to the World Travel Awards, considered today as the Oscars of Tourism in the World.
In this category, the island competed with other destinations such as Barbados, Jamaica, Martinique, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts and Trinidad.
World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to recognize, reward and celebrate excellence in all sectors of the tourism industry and today its brand is recognized worldwide as the highest seal of quality. The winners set the benchmark to which all others aspire.
Traveling off the beaten paths is an engaging way of going to places that are undiscovered, with a sense of exploration. It is finding stories of 'hidden gems', exploring them, and engaging with local Puerto Ricans and Cubans. This way you will discover the unconventional routes and stories that offer a more authentic or secluded experience.
We value cultural travel based on the idea that we can learn about ourselves and others when we embark on journeys to different cultural contexts. Our journeys to Cuba and Puerto Rico are framed by our understanding, respect and appreciation of the historical contributions made by their people in the fields of arts, community education and general wellness.

This retreat will offer a safe space in which to reflect on your childhood, however supported or unsupported it may have been. It will guide you to be curious about how your adult life today is influenced, and sometimes sabotaged, by those experiences.
It will offer you the skills both to recognize what was positive about your childhood, and to re-parent yourself in the ways that you wished you had been parented.

This journey allows for learning about the art, history and architectural value of the Colonial Cities of Havana, Cienfuegos and Trinidad. In Havana we will learn about Cuban art and the colonial and post colonial architectural styles and the restoration efforts that makes Havana the most impressive historical city center in the Caribbean and one of the most notable in the American continent as a whole.
After our experience in Havana we will travel to Cienfuegos and Trinidad. The colonial town of Cienfuegos was founded in 1819 in the Spanish territory but was initially settled by immigrants of French origin. It became a trading place for sugar cane, tobacco and coffee. Founded in the early 16th century, Trinidad, in honor of the Holy Trinity, was a bridgehead for the conquest of the American continent.

Based on new regulations (2022) for travel to Cuba, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the agency regulating the embargo against Cuba, made the following announcement regarding group travel to Cuba. We only promote group travel to Cuba under the regulations of OFAC's educational people-to-people license.
Group people-to-people travel is educational travel not involving academic study pursuant to a degree program that takes place under the auspices of an organization that is subject to U.S. jurisdiction that sponsors such exchanges to promote people-to-people contact. Travelers utilizing this travel authorization must maintain a full-time schedule of educational exchange activities that are intended to enhance contact with the Cuban people, support civil society in Cuba, or promote the Cuban people’s independence from Cuban authorities, and that will result in meaningful interaction between the traveler and individuals in Cuba. An employee, consultant, or agent of the group must accompany each group to ensure that each traveler maintains a full-time schedule of educational exchange activities.
Based on this announcement, our programs are authorized and will be delivered in compliance with the new regulations.
